Chopard presents a new edition of the LUC Skull One timepiece. A limited series of 8 pieces decorated with the Mexican Calavera in homage to Día de les Muertos. Macabre but in a parody way, this celebration gives Chopard the opportunity to revisit the theme of vanities.
The lacquered dial of the LUC Skull One timepiece is crisscrossed with sun, flower or heart-shaped patterns, and a rounded-tipped mustache surmounting a soft toothless smile. An emaciated skull serves as a backdrop to the running hours marked by golden hands, Arabic numerals and indexes that echo the microblasted pink ethical gold case. The case of this timepiece houses the LUC 96.53-L self-winding mechanical movement. Extra-thin, only 3.3 mm thick, it is nonetheless fitted with two barrels, using LUC Twin technology, offering a power reserve of 58 hours.

It comes to life thanks to a micro-rotor made of tungsten, a high density alloy for optimal winding and a minimum of bulk in the watch case. With its movement bridges finely decorated with Côtes de Genève, it makes the LUC Skull One watch a creation as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. A hand-sewn brown calfskin strap gives this creation, limited to 8 pieces, a final touch of elegance.
